Throughout the year 2022, Li Aixiao made it a point to collect her naturally-shed hair from her surroundings. By the end of December, she had collected a total of 31.348 grams of hair, which is approximately equivalent to 70130 strands. During that time, she also documented many significant domestic and international events.
For the performance, she asked the audience to wear blindfolds to focus on the audio presentation of the events. Meanwhile, she was creating a hairball using the collected hair. After the audio presentation, she displayed the hairball in a transparent box for the audience to observe.
